AhsayOBM file backups are an efficient solution for backing up all types of files from your Windows servers, PCs, and notebooks. Including files stored on local, network, and USB drives.

Please use the following steps to Backup Files with AhsayOBM on Windows.

  1. Launch AhsayOBM.
  2. On the AhsayOBM login screen, enter your login credentials and click [OK] to continue.
  3. Click the Backup Sets tile.
  4. Click the + icon to create a new backup set.
  5. Enter the name of your new backup set then select File Backup as the backup set type. Click [Next] to continue.
  6. Select the backup source where your files are stored. Click [Next] to continue.
  7. Create an automatic backup schedule. Click the + icon to add a schedule. Click [Next] to continue.
    Enable "Run Retention Policy after backup" when creating a backup schedule.
  8. Select the Backup mode and click the + icon to add a storage destination. Click [Next] to continue.
  9. Use the default setting for Encryption. Click [Next] to continue.
  10. Secure the encryption key and keep it in a safe place. Click [Confirm] to continue.
  11. Click [Backup now] to start a backup job or click [Close] to exit.
    The automatic backup will start at the schedule set in step 7.
