Creating a free Outlook account provides convenience and spares you from subscription plan expenses, which allows you to utilize Outlook and OneDrive for free. Unfortunately, this cost-free service puts your critical personal data at a high risk for data loss.
This video provides instructions on how to protect your free Outlook account data using AhsayOBM. Proceed with the following steps:
- Login to AhsayOBM.
- Click Backup Sets and the + button to create a new backup set.
- Rename the backup set or use the default name provided.
- Change the backup set type to Microsoft 365 Backup.
- Select This Microsoft 365 user only.
- Keep the default selection for Region, then Next.
- An authorization request will appear. Click Authorize.
- Login to your free Outlook account, then clikc Accept.
- Copy the authorization code to AhsayOBM, then click OK.
- Another authorization request will appear. Click Continue.
- Click Accept.
- Copy the authorization code to AhsayOBM, then click OK.
- Select what to backup, then click Next.
- Create a Backup Schedule, then Next.
- Select Concurrent for backup mode.
- Keep the default selection for maximum concurrent backup destinations.
- Cick the + button to select storage destinations, then Next.
- Keep the default setting for Encryption. Click Save.
- Keep a copy of your encryption key. Click Confirm.
- You now have the option to backup your files by clicking Backup Now.
- Or click Close and wait for AhsayOBM to backup your files on the schedule you set it on.
