How to backup your Windows System State?

Ahsay's Windows System State backup protects critical operating system files and components on servers running Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server etc. It will enable you to recover the state of the machine after the loss or corruption of system files and registry.

Please use the following steps to backup Windows System State on AhsyOBM.

1. On your desktop, click the AhsayOBM icon.
2. Once you're on the AhsayOBM login page, enter your credentials to access your account. Then, click [OK].
3. From the AhsayOBM home screen, select [Backup Sets].
4. Click the [+] sign to create a new backup set.
5. Rename the file backup set or use the default name provided.
6. Change the backup set type to MS Windows System State Backup.
7. Select a temporary location for the system backup.
8. Click [Next].
9. A default backup schedule is set up. You can delete this by double-clicking on the default schedule and click [Delete this backup schedule] or you may also click the [+] sign to create a new backup schedule.
10. Enable Run Retention Policy after backup. Click [OK], then [Next] to proceed.
11. Select Concurrent as backup mode.
12. Leave the maximmum concurrent backup destinations on default.
13. Then click the [+] sign to add a new storage destination. Ahsay Drive is selected by default.
14. Click [OK].
15. Click [Add] to add another destination, then select a local or network destination.
16. Click [Next].
17. Keep the default setting for Encryption. Click [Save].
18. Keep a copy of your encryption key. Click [Confirm].
19. You now have the option to backup your Windows System State by clicking [Backup Now].
20. Or click [Close] and wait for AhsayOBM to backup your files on the schedule you set it on.
