Recovering your files with AhsayOBR on macOS

Use the following steps to recover your files on macOS using Ahsay Online Backup Restore.

EXE Online Installation

1. From the download page of your AhsayCBS web management console, go the Restore tab.
2. In the macOS section, click DMG online installer to download.
3. From the Menu Bar, click Go then select Applications.
4. Create an "obr" folder.
5. Open the Downloads folder.
6. Drag the downloaded online instaler file to move it to the created "obr" folder.
7. Copy the installation file name.
8. Open Terminal.
9. Use the cd command to enter the "obr" folder: cd /Applications/obr
10. Use the sudo sh command to execute the online installer: $sudo sh [paste the copied online installer file name].sh
11. After installation, AhsayOBR will launch automatically.

ZIP Offline Installer

1. From the download page of your AhsayCBS web management console, go the Restore tab.
2. In the macOS section, click ZIP offline installer to download.
3. Open Terminal.
4. Use the cd command to enter the "obr-mac" folder: cd /Users/admin/Downloads/obr-mac
5. Use the sh command to launch the installer: sh obr-mac.sh
6. After installation, AhsayOBR will launch automatically.

1. Before logging in, click Show Advanced Option first and configure the network settings, if needed.
2. Enter your credentials to login.
3. Select a backup set.
4. Select where restore your data from.
5. Check the temporary directory and configure if needed.
6. Click Next.
7. To proceed, enter the encryption key of the selected backup set.
8. Select what to restore: Choose from files as of job and select a particular verison or Choose from ALL files
9. Select the files and/or folders you aim to restore
10. Click Next.
11. Select where to store the files to: Original or Alternate location
12. Click Show Advanced Option and keep the settings on default.
13. Click Restore to cotinue.
14. To check the restore data, open the selected restore destination.
