Use the following steps to recover your files on macOS using Ahsay Online Backup Restore.
EXE Online Installation
- From the download page of your AhsayCBS web management console, go the Restore tab.
- In the macOS section, click DMG online installer to download.
- From the Menu Bar, click Go then select Applications.
- Create an "obr" folder.
- Open the Downloads folder.
- Drag the downloaded online instaler file to move it to the created "obr" folder.
- Copy the installation file name.
- Open Terminal.
- Use the cd command to enter the "obr" folder: cd /Applications/obr
- Use the sudo sh command to execute the online installer: $sudo sh [paste the copied online installer file name].sh
- After installation, AhsayOBR will launch automatically.
ZIP Offline Installer
- From the download page of your AhsayCBS web management console, go the Restore tab.
- In the macOS section, click ZIP offline installer to download.
- Open Terminal.
- Use the cd command to enter the "obr-mac" folder: cd /Users/admin/Downloads/obr-mac
- Use the sh command to launch the installer: sh obr-mac.sh
- After installation, AhsayOBR will launch automatically.

- Before logging in, click Show Advanced Option first and configure the network settings, if needed.
- Enter your credentials to login.
- Select a backup set.
- Select where restore your data from.
- Check the temporary directory and configure if needed.
- Click Next.
- To proceed, enter the encryption key of the selected backup set.
- Select what to restore: Choose from files as of job and select a particular verison or Choose from ALL files
- Select the files and/or folders you aim to restore
- Click Next.
- Select where to store the files to: Original or Alternate location
- Click Show Advanced Option and keep the settings on default.
- Click Restore to cotinue.
- To check the restore data, open the selected restore destination.
