License / Billing Module

  • Do not count quota for backup running on ESXi free version (ref: T-10309)

Restore / Decrypt

  • Simplify the restoration process by Restore wizard
  • Support restore of MS Exchange 2013 Database from Alternate Location (ref: T-8340)
  • For MSSQL backup, if the backup of one database is interrupted, allow backup of other databases to continue (ref: T-9083)
  • Restore guest VM to another VMware ESXi host (ref: T-9847)

System maintenance

Bug Fixes

Application specific backup

  • When MS Exchange Server backup is running, other backup job has "UNKNOWN IPC=BACKUP_EXCHANGE_RUNNING_STATUS" error
  • Should not allow to select In-File delta type when backup MS Exchange transaction logs (ref: JGE-740354, T-2127)
  • De-selected DBs in MySQL Backup Source are NOT deleted from AhsayOBS after re-backup (ref: T-6921)
  • Unable to make any changes to the backup source of IBM Lotus Domino Backup Set (ref: NHT-378499, T-7146)
  • MS Exchange Server schedule backup completes with log sequence error (ref: POF-261731, T-7475)
  • Fail to create VMware vCenter backup sets if set the host to the second or following IP addresses (ref: T-9467)
  • AhsayOBM treat VM as being removed when the vCenter loses connection to ESXi server. As a result, the corresponding VM data on AhsayOBS will be moved to the retention (ref: MJO-725-90266, T-10159)
  • Should backup suspended VM in non-VDDK mode if snapshots were created after VM suspension (ref: T-11634)

File backup

  • Java crash with "Problematic frame: [libc.so.6+0x]" error at start of backup job on a Linux machine
  • Empty folders not removed when deleting folders (ref: T-9100)
  • Duplicate "incorrect delta file checksum" message (ref: T-11631)

General / Miscellaneous

  • Encryption is not default if hide encryption setting in New Backup Set Wizard by Policy Control (ref: YLK-696794, T-7053)

Group Policy / Reseller Panel

  • If set Policy Control to hide the encryption setting in AhsayOBM->[New Backup Set Wizard], the encryption setting of the backup set created does not follow the default setting (ref: T-7053)

Restore / Decrypt

  • For HyperV backupset, when restore to alternate location, the name of the restored VM folder is restored as VM ID instead of proper folder name (ref: T-9299)
  • Restore symbolic links to a location which exists a physical file/folder with same name causes restore error, and vice versa (ref: T-11049)

System maintenance

  • Local Index is corrupted when there is not enough disk space for Local Copy (ref: LTN-600460, T-7121)
