Offline Installation (Linux GUI)

This section aims at providing instructions on installing and launching AhsayOBR using the Linux GUI directly on the machine.

  1. Right click on the AhsayOBR installation package .gz file to extract.

  2. Open the folder to check the extracted installation package.

  3. Create a folder under the /usr/local directory. You could name the folder obr. Open the folder and then move the file you have just extracted into it.

  4. Click Applications at the top menu bar, then select Terminal.

  5. Use the command to enter the /usr/local/obr folder.

    [root@[machine’s name]~]# cd /usr/local/obr
  6. Use the command to execute the launcher.

    [root@[machine’s name] obr]# sh [name of the file you extracted]
  7. After downloading the necessary components, AhsayOBR is launched successfully when you see the following screen.
