- From the AhsayOBM home screen, click Restore.
- Select the backup set containing the data you want to restore.
- Check the Temporary Directory.
- Ensure the following:
- Directory is not set to the same drive where Windows OS is installed
- Directory is not set to a network drive as it may affect the restore performance
- Ensure the following:
- Select where to restore your data from.
- It is recommended to select a local destination, if applicable.
- Select what to restore: Choose from files as of job
- You may select a specific version by clicking the menus next to it.
- Select the data you aim to recover from Outlook and/or OneDrive.
- You may utilize the Keyword Quick Search and/or Date Range to reduce overall recovery time.
- For Outlook data: Utilize the Preview and/or Quick Download features to view a certain email and download it, including the attachments, to your local machine. You may as well download only the attachments to your local machine without restoring the entire email.
- For OneDrive data: Utilize the Download button to immediately recover the file to your local machine.
- Click Next.
- Select where to restore the data to: Restore items to Microsoft 365 or Save archive files to a destination.
- Check the advanced option and configure, if preferred.
Click Restore.

1. Select what to restore. You may select a previous version or keep the default selection which is the latest version.
2. Select data to recover from Outlook and/or OneDrive. Click Next.
3. Select Restore items to Microsoft 365.
4. Keep Original User selected.
5. Check the advanced option and configure, if preferred.
6. Click Next.
Recover data during a system outage
1. Select what to restore. You may select a previous version or keep the default selection which is the latest version.
2. Select data to recover from Outlook and/or OneDrive. Click Next.
3. Change the restore method to Save archive files to a destination. Click Next.
4. Change the directory path where the data will be restored to.
5. Click Restore.

9. Select Alternate login account.
10. Keep the default selection for Region.

13. Enter the credentials for your alternate free Outlook account and login.
14. Click Accept.
15. Copy and paste the authorization code to AhsayOBM. Click OK.
16. Click Continue.
17. Click Accept.
18. Copy and paste the authorization code to AhsayOBM. Click OK.
19. Select the user which is your alternate free Outlook account. This will prompt the restore job.
