Reporting

Ahsay backup agents provide users with detailed backup and restore reports, which enables them to verify if their backup is running as configured. The backup and restore reports are also helpful for auditing and troubleshooting purposes. These reports are easily accessible from within the backup agent. For convenience, a copy of the backup and restore reports is automatically emailed to the user after each backup and restore job is completed.

The backup server administrator can customize the types of reports to emailed users:

• Email backup reports to the user only when warnings or errors happen during a backup job. The backup server administrator can take appropriate action.
• Send an email alert to the user that their scheduled backup has failed to run.
• Send an email alert when a backup job hasn't run for a preset number of days.
• Send email alerts when their backup storage quota utilization is over the defined percentage.
