Version 5.0.2.1c (25-Apr-2006)

This is a maintenance release which contains some bug fixes and enhancements

  • Bug - Fixed the problem of AhsayOBS deleting all replicated files on AhsayRPS when file paths are entered in the incorrect case
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of AhsayOBS storing corrupted backup files on the server (introduced in 5.0.2.0a)
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of slow backup (introduced in 5.0.2.0)
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of AhsayOBS replication module sending the same files during a RE-SYNC process
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of AhsayOBS replication module ignoring data under AhsayOBS user home located on an UNC path.

Version 5.0.2.0 (7-Apr-2006)

This is an unstable release. If you are using 5.0.2.0, 5.0.2.0a or 5.0.2.0b, please upgrade to 5.0.2.1 or above immediately. After the upgrade, please enable the [Manage Job] -> [Routine Job] -> [Rebuild User Storage] -> [Backup File Validation] -> [Verify all files] option and select [Corrupted File Action] -> [Move to retention area] to allow AhsayOBS to perform integrity check on all backup files. Please remember to uncheck the [Verify all files] option after the [Rebuild User Storage] job has completed successfully (you use the [Manage System] -> [System Log] page to check the running status of the job) to avoid unnecessary integrity checking being performed on the same backup file more than once.

  • Bug - Fixed the problem of replication stopping intermittently by rewriting the replication module (AhsayRPS must be upgraded to v5.0.2.1)
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of [Backup Set] -> [Backup Source] -> [Remove] on the web interface not working when the backup source entry contains non-ascii characters
  • Bug - Fixed the problem of new trial users always created with 256kb bandwidth throttling
  • Enhancement - The total throughput of replication has been increased 3 - 10 times.
